kids ministry

Children are taught about Jesus and his message. Our team prepares diligently and prayerfully as every Sunday morning is intentional. Whether kids are coloring, talking about their week, or discussing a Bible story during snack time, we want each moment to reflect the love of Jesus.

Kids ages 0-10 are invited to learn using a curriculum tailored for each specific stage in childhood:

Ages 0-2: Toddler Time
Ages 3-5: Early Childhood
Ages 6-8: Early Elementary
Ages 9-10: Elementary and Preteen

youth ministry

Youth are helped to encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, build lasting relationships, and impact the world around them for Jesus. We want to challenge, encourage, and inspire youth ages 11-18 to encounter Jesus in all areas of their lives.

Encounter meetings are twice a month for all middle and high school students and feature games, food, worship, and discipleship.

Big events are once a month for all middle and high school students and involve opportunities for fun, fellowship, service, and outreach.

Bible studies are once a month for high school students.

Psalm 96:8 encourages us to bring our gift to the altar - we believe each person has a gift they can use to serve Jesus and his church.

Kids Ministry
We seek to introduce children to Jesus, instill in them a love for Jesus, teach them the message of Jesus, and send them on the great adventure of sharing the Gospel of Jesus. We strive to create a culture where children look forward to participating and where parents can confidently know their children are safe, cared for, and loved.

Hospitality
We believe a gospel view of hospitality is showing people that God sees, loves, and values them. We want them to feel comfortable and accepted in God’s house, helping them see Jesus as their Savior. Our team hosts and welcomes everyone who arrives on a Sunday morning, as greeters or at our community coffee bar. We want to love guests well and help them make a connection.

Music + Media
Our Music + Media team exists to make much of Jesus as we gather each Sunday morning. Sound, slides, musicians, and vocalists are all encouraged to use their gifts collaboratively to help the church enjoy worship and take time to celebrate the work of Jesus through praise. Every week is intentionally and prayerfully planned and practiced to glorify God in our service.

dgroups

Discipleship groups are one of the most impactful ways we live life together as a community. We gather in gender-specific small groups twice a year for 10-12 weekly meetings. These are relational times where we confess, challenge, and encourage one another, train and grow, and reach out to our community to show them Jesus’ love.

Fall 2026 dgroups begin September 14. You can sign up for a dgroup until Sunday, September 13:

look-in lunch

Want to learn more about Freeway Church? Look-In Lunches give you a chance to enjoy a meal right after church, get to know the pastors, hear more about what we believe, and learn where God is calling us as a church.
